Senior Information Technology Technician

Full-time: 36.42 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Hours: 9.00 am – 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £17,726 - £19,521 (Points 23-26) including Reigate College Allowance)

An experienced and suitably qualified I.T. professional is required to deputise for the Network Systems Manager. The post holder will be required to develop and maintain the College network and equipment. Training will be available for a candidate who has the relevant aptitude and experience.

The College wishes to employ an experienced and suitably qualified I.T. professional. The successful applicant will be working with a small team of trained technicians who are responsible for providing I.T. back-up and maintaining the College network which consists of approximately 1000 terminals.

Well you get all the standard public holidays, and statutory/local days, plus 20 days holiday. To be fair this is the same deal as the last school I worked at which was on the other side of the country (ie, it's a regular full time job with some closure for christmas, you get holiday time as any other job does and take it whenever you want).

I took a massive cut when I was made redundant from my last role. The only way I was going to be on the same money was to work in the city, and I was not going to do that again !!

I like an easy life me....

 

BTW - I have passed those job details to a few friends of mine who are currently looking....
