What a rubbish day i have had :) If it wasn't for the pub lunch i would be more moody.

Zen have swiched us over to LLU with all the 21CN that goes with it and when i came in this morning I found my ever reliable BeWan ASDSL modem in my smoothie isn't compatable :( Such a shame as I liked having the ability to sort out problems from one box... and the nice reboot on errors that smoothwall had so if the line went down it rebooted itself.

Anyway I was in a ruch and CCL didn't have much choice in the shop so I got a Belkin ADSL2+ G router. Eventually got it working (the port forwarding baffled me... why change the name to virtual server???) but I can't get the bridging working on the router.

Can anyone recommend a ADSL2+ router thats nice and reliable which does bridging with smoothwall.... prefer the bridging method as the Lan method I am using now just doesn't seem right.

I feel your pain; my Draytek Vigor 120 stopped getting a PPP connection via IPCop after the 21CN switchover (though curiously it works fine when plugged into a Windows box). The Vigor 110 still works great, but they are discontinued - actual ADSL modems are a real rarity these days. :(

It's a hard call - they keep discontinuing the good stuff and replacing it with cheap :censored:

We're working on finding a decent adsl2+ internal, there's some aussie chappies building one that might "do a job". I'll see what support think - we use linksys AM200 in the office, but they are also discontinued afaik :(
