ButterflyMoon Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Yesterday my band was leading the Pride Parade in Newcastle and what a rush!!!! 10 Thousand people there it was awesome!! Even saw myself on the local news that would be my 3 seconds of fame!!!

Yep, that looks a familiar site from my younger days of watching Home and Away! It's practically the middle of summer here, and my weather station say it's only 17.8 degrees outside!

witch Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Spent today in Tolpuddle at the Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival. My sister was carrying the Equity banner in the parade. It was quite a laugh although it was a bit wearing to hear everyone described as 'comrade'!
elsiegee40 Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Lots of Laundry - son back from a week's adventure camp in the Brecon Beacons. They got blown away by the gales on the last night and had to sleep on their bus. Have to admit some items went straight in the bin. Today we went to the Crab & Winkle in Whitstable for lunch. Excellent crab! Yum!
