Oh, and going against the grain, much prefer the first tie ;-) Not a bad idea there, when the donations are enabled again i know that all of the money raised by that will be going to charity, so this would also be another way to make money Making things available to purchase via the site is something that has been in discussion for time now, and when the admins have found the best solution for this it will be made available I'd have one of each
GrumbleDook Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 I would prefer a tie that was 'old school' style ... that what I can wear it at meetings / events and it gets recognised by those who should recognise it, but is not blatant branding. I frequently wear branded EG stuff anyway the same way I do with MS, Apple, Tux, etc ... but most stuff is just things that identify me as a geek of some sort (alt.fan.pratchett, O'Really, ThinkGeek, etc ...) I will probably get whatever merchandise is available anyway ... I think I am now the only person with a complete set of everything put out so far (including the early t-shirts and mugs). As for the handshake ... there already is one for tech support ... and I'm not talking about an SSL handshake either.

Even a ployester tie would be about £20 for a design like that.
