Guest Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 http://jakgibb.com/prx.php i seem to know that name from somewhere :?
TechMonkey Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Aww, bless. Poor guy will get a persecution complex with another set of referals from here!
MkII Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Seems like he really learned a lesson then. What an Idiot.
ChrisC Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 That's not very nice, he probably wanted to keep this one quiet just for him and his friends to look at bebo with... nice catch! Chris
indiegirl Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 I wish I had as much money as him to waste on registering domain names...
Jake Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 I never suspected that he would stop doing it anyway..lets face it, saying something on here is no different to a kid saying sorry for something to an adult. They dont really mean it, its just something they do to stop getting flak at that moment in time. National Service, thats what we should bring back, beat some respect into them
plock Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 WoW I really thought he learnt his lesson after reading the full story. Just shows you it's never that simple!
Netman Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 National Service, thats what we should bring back, beat some respect into them Abso-flippin-lutely Jake - and the girls too... they don't know they're born... /slopes off wondering why I'm starting to sound like my grandfather..
webman Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Abso-flippin-lutely Shouldn't that be asbo-flippin-lutely? 8)
Netman Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Shouldn't that be asbo-flippin-lutely? 8) Nice.... ROFL
examstudies.com Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Me again lol...to be fair I had the proxy on there months ago, before I set up examstudies and just forgot about it. I never suspected that he would stop doing it anyway..lets face it, saying something on here is no different to a kid saying sorry for something to an adult. They dont really mean it, its just something they do to stop getting flak at that moment in time. National Service, thats what we should bring back, beat some respect into them I'm just waiting for my hosting period to be over before pulling the plug on the site (examstudies) and selling the domain name. It's sometime this week I think. Took some advice and would rather help the admins than "go against them".
examstudies.com Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Just looked it ends tomorrow, the sites down anyway that saves me a quite a few pounds per month.
webman Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Call me cynical, but "leopards" and "spots" springs to mind
examstudies.com Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Well I guess you will think that way, you've got no reason to believe me but I seriously don't have the money to spend keeping it running and the time, plus my education means a lot to me.
Jake Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 I still say national service is a good idea... after all...you get a gun !!
GrumbleDook Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Hmm ... the British Army Issue Hand Grenade ... a killing distance of up to 100 metres (shrapnel and blast injuries) ... and the average throwing distance of said hand grenade by a british squaddie is 35 metres ... It defintiely teaches you to duck behind a wall ...
Guest Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Mr examstudies.com I'm the Network Manager at your college , so pop down to my office and ill show you around the server room and explain to you how ( & why ) we do what we do. then maybe we can all gain something from this episode. Taz
StewartKnight Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtml a whole site of proxies that the little darlings have discovered!!!
ChrisH Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 The fact that the URL has the word proxy in it twice would have it filtered here straight off .
woody Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 We filter anything with 'prox' in it now. This accounts for both plural versions ie proxys and proxies. Haven't had any complaints of legit sites not working yet.
ChrisC Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 what if someones researching something with the word proximity? Chris
woody Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 That's what I'm saying. We haven't had any complaints!
