CD's? How quaint.

I started thinking this until I realized that there still exist in this world - "quaint" computers that do not boot to USB!!!!

Looks so much more professional to a customer when when he/she hears the infamous phrase "Oh shoot, it doesn't boot to USB!" followed by the divine sounds of organs and angel's harps as you open the Holy Grail of "ye ole compactus disci" and voila! - pc fixed!

That would have been an appropriate comment 2 years ago, when the thread was made.

Now... it's a necropost.

... and to this day the topic matter still runs rampant as some customers are not affected or care about such things as a date or time... hence the obvious flavor of age in my post!

Point is... it STILL happens and these GOOD posts have helped out many ppl, myself included... otherwise if these threads were ACTUALLY necro (dead) then they would not still be here to help us out... ;-)

SO: thanks for everyone's input on this thread, most of this is STILL good info and should not be considered dead because good info is NEVER dead - even if the original post was ONLY 2 years old... (betcha there's software/hardware that's older than 2yo in most customer's computers!)

great site too... lots of info. Keep up the good work!
