Personally i have 58 new stations arriving, got to build them and find somewhere for them to live until a new build is complete, lots of staff laptops to check (woot safeguarding) and county in to install an additional file server. gotta order CC4 and a Terminal Server. Rearrange the server cab whilst listening to my ipod. and eat microwavable crap

Todays plan, catch up on sleep the 4am bed time, all in aid of Edugeek I will add!, has killed me for the day. I need strong Coffee

 

Other than that, fit my new Casio projector in a classroom, do some tidying up and then off from the main job for the rest of the week, to come back in next week and fit an Exchange Server and lots of shinyness to the school in the form of Exchange to help us all start to communicate better.

Currently migrating all our exchange 2003 mailboxes over from the current exchange box to a VM, then im wiping the old exchange box and installing server 2008R2 and exchange 2010

 

Just spent the weekend getting absolutely plastered while helping a mate move house, good times

re-imaging two banks of laptops for sci and english, and other little bits of jobs that i never have time for during term time.

Sorting out 2 new batches of laptops 60 in total

 

still fuming about the amount of time corel draw x4 took me to install on 20 stations.

Making a Windows 2008 R2 fail over cluster for Hyper-V this week - re-installing 5 servers and few P2Vs too.

 

Next week, upgrading SIMS to SQL 2008.

Installing WSUS on server 2008 on to a Dell 170L to test out WSUS for use with admin PC's, it’s going well. Shame I couldn't of found a spare 64bit machine then I could have tested it on windows 2008R2
