john Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 The road tax is okay if your car is reg'ed before March 2004 as the max bracket is K then. Yeh I remembered that the other night when I saw the ad for a top spec Discovery and its capped in its tax as well due to its age, its got super low miles, full off-road spec, all gadgets and toys, and its manual as well! (Although I do like the Auto Discoverys as there not bad), soooo tempted as I've been saying for ages I should get one...... ...I won't hack off the youngsters by telling you how much I pay for a years insurance (oh, alright I will, it's £260 fully comp). Wish mine was that cheap Bet Ric wishes his was that cheap as well Enjoy your new car
BTCC_Fan Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Nice car Dos_box, time to show it what an off-road track is! Buying my first car next weekend hopefully. Wish my insurance was that cheap, I'm looking at £1600 for third party fire & theft, which is more than I'll be spending on the car!
maniac Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 15 year old cavalier costs me the grand total of £220 a year to insure fully comp, and that's with protecting my no claims as well - if I didn't do that, it'd be about £190 a year - bargain! Mike.
