Rawns Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I have a old, huge, boxy 5.1 speaker system connected to my PC. I don't really have room for it and I want to get rid of it and replace it with smaller set of speakers. I'm looking for a small set of 2.0 speakers that sound good and are not too pricey. Can anyone recommend me a set (preferably a set that can be purchased from eBuyer as I have a free next day delivery voucher! )
tmcd35 Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I don't know if eBuyer does anything similar but these are my favourite speakers at the moment - Active Speakers : PC 2.0 Speakers : Maplin We use them with all our IWB's.
3s-gtech Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 We swear by the Creative Gigaworks T20 speakers, but it depends what you class as pricey. They do classroom duties in many areas of the school here, and are very impressive.
stevenwba Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 we have these Logitech Z-10 2.0 Speaker System - 30W RMS - Ebuyer or these Logitech Z-4 Black 2.1 PC Speakers With Remote Control - 40W RMS - Ebuyer
CESIL Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I have these at school and they are small but sound fairly good to my old ears Logitech S120 Black 2.0 Speakers
DaveMurphy Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I have an Acoustic Solutions SP101 Amplifer, and it believe me its not powerful enough, is there pc speakers thats higher than 40w... say 60w?
Flakes Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Logitech x-140: Logitech X-140 Black 2.0 PC multimedia speakers - 5W RMS - Ebuyer surprisingly good quality for the price and wattage output.
stevenwba Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 from looking at the posts if you want good cheap speakers stick with logitech

I got a pair of those, but they seem to distort unless all dials are set to what I perceive to be full!

I too love those speakers, they sound really good for the money... but I bought three sets, one for me, one for my wife and one for her sister. After 3 years none of them worked
