My home desktop has blue fans for drawing in cool air and a red fan for pushing out the warm :D

Oh Dear Ric, you ordered all blue really didn't you and just one red one came and instead of making a fuss you said you would keep it and didn't deliberately order them that way?

Every stoopid piece of kit you buy nowadays comes with a blue fan... 2 came with my Coolermaster case, 1 on my Xalman GPU cooler and 1 on my Xalman CPU cooler. In addition, another 2 non-LED fans came with the case but I needed one more and Scan had sold out of non-LED fans so I went for a red Coolermaster one and procededed to move all the fans about to get that arrangement!

I've looked into 'disabling' the LEDs... it isn't possible :( At least none of them flash! :getmecoat:

Here's a bit of a tangent, but it's on the LED theme.

Get a digital camera (a camera phone will do) and point it at the transmitter end of a remote control. Activate the remote control.

Report back with your results.

Good, eh?

Thats how i test the batteries in remotes :D

Ok, we will let you off, myself and Mike were worried that you had actually spent a lot of time planning and thinking about it and made it like a teaching resource

My case doesn't have flashing LEDs in it, just lots of blue ones and a fish tank on the side of it :)

What are you all complaining about. Nothing wrong with a few lights on your 'puter!

At least that looks like clear mineral oil rather than guey sunflower oil. But the blue LEDs do make it all the better :D

Have you seen what they used for the oil? I think that they would receive far more kudos if they'd called it the 'Horse Laxative Cooled PC'! :D

LOL Agreed on that as I didn't spot that bit just saw it was clear so thought it would be mineral oil rather than how they sourced it! hehe
