localzuk Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 (edited) Thought i'd mix it up a bit with a bit of Haiku OS... Edited March 13, 2011 by localzuk
localzuk Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 haven't heard of that one..... It's an open source rework of beos.
localzuk Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Haven't heard of Haiku or Beos. Looks pretty! Oh dear, youth today...
localzuk Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 What are you saying?! I'm saying you had better go and investigate these things, as BeOS was the best OS made!
vikpaw Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I'm saying you had better go and investigate these things, as BeOS was the best OS made! They should have called it BestOS then! edit: then us kids would find it easier to understand

vikpaw Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 My desktop background. It's usually got more stuff open but I tidied up, just for you. What? No SIMS? Poor Show!
John_Howarth Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 What? No SIMS? Poor Show! While I'd love top try and get SIMS working on Ubuntu, I haven't yet had the time! I suppose I'd have to run SQL in a VM... I'll stick with dual booting for now!

John_Howarth Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 works on mine - with help from a citrix server. That's cheating! I use mine as a stand-alone for training purposes so it need's to stable and off-line. I was using VirtualBox rather than dual boot but SIMS Discover runs better natively. It's all good fun!
