Merlin card holder too !! just this week got one. I'v heard they do a pre open day for pass holders is this true !! if so i will be going !

To call it a 'ride' gives it too much credit. Though the effect is quite cool. This is a proper coaster.

i live in cheadle (next door to alton) i may just ask my mates (who work there) see if i can get on the tests

It doesn't have me on the edge of my seat (I must confess) like some of their other well known rides! Would be nice to see a layout of it. The video clips are boring to be honest!

Yeh there are no real views of it yet. Dont look that hairy !! a few million spent on it i understand. Looks like a glorified ghost ride to me ...... i hope they make me eat my words

Looks fun although after my trip to orlando in the summer and getting to test this coaster - Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit | Florida's Most Technologically Advanced Coaster I'm not sure alton towers will be fun for me anymore

Th13teen isn't bad. It's certainly not as good as Rita, Nemesis etc IMO, but it's different at least. Well worth a shot - but don't be suckered into queuing for two hours plus, you'll be annoyed! We were very, very lucky - it had broken down in the morning (again) while we were queuing, so we were all sent away. We wandered back a few hours later to see what was happening, not many people around but there were two attendants talking into radios and sending people away. We hung around nearby, they then called out that the ride was open, and we walked straight along the path into the ride building, and onto the ride. 0 mins queue! By the time we got off, there must have been a two hour line winding back as everyone saw it was back on.
