Hi everyone My 2017 SEAT Ateca Xcellence has developed an issue with the power tailgate where the boot isn't closing properly (giving off error beeps). I'm looking into replacing the electric struts/actuators myself to save paying steep dealership/garage labour costs. I've seen replacement pairs on eBay matching OEM part numbers 575827851A (Left) and 575827852A (Right) for the Ateca KH7 (2016–2023). Has anyone here replaced these electric struts themselves? How tricky is unclipping/routing the wiring harness behind the trim? Did you need VCDS/OBD Eleven to reset/re-calibrate the system, or did it work plug-and-play / via holding the boot button? Any tips or pitfalls to look out for with aftermarket eBay struts? Struggling to find a specific Ateca video guide online, so any advice or step-by-step tips would be greatly appreciated! Hi all, Hoping for some guidance from anyone who’s been through a leakage allowance claim with Severn Trent. 3‑bed semi, 2 adults + 1 child. Meter fitted in 2022. Since December last year our bills have risen to completely unrealistic levels for our property size and usage: Dec 2024: £772 Jun 2025: £1,066 Dec 2025: £1,445 No change in usage. ST originally told me bills were “just generally higher” and suggested water‑saving tips, which I followed. I did everything suggested, including the Get Water Fit scheme and installing the free devices they sent. Still kept rising. By June, when the bill went over £1k, I pushed again and said something more serious must be going on. After few more months of back‑and‑forth, Severn Trent finally agreed to investigate. In November they confirmed there was a leak, but on my side of the boundary, so I had to get my insurer involved. A contractor appointed through my insurance located and repaired the leak. Leak now fixed and ST have closed the case. I now need to submit a one‑time leakage allowance claim, so I want to get it right. Has anyone been through this process and can share what to include or what Severn Trent look for? Any tips on what to include so the claim isn’t rejected? Thanks for any help. Hi Does anyone use or have any experience with Microsoft 365 developer subscription which you can get through a Enterprise visual studio MSDN subscription? I’m trying to understand the behaviour of the Microsoft 365 Developer Program after running into an issue that support couldn’t resolve. I previously had a Microsoft 365 Developer E5 subscription linked to my main environment (the one I actively use with my Azure MSDN subscription). That Developer E5 subscription was deleted by mistake, which removed all Microsoft 365 workloads from that environment. When I attempted to recreate the Developer E5 subscription, the Developer Program automatically created a completely new sandbox tenant instead of letting me attach it to my existing environment. This new sandbox is not useful to me. I contacted Microsoft support to request a reset of my Developer Program entitlement so I could recreate the Developer E5 subscription in the correct environment. Support closed the case and told me I must wait 60 days before I can create a new Developer subscription. My questions: Why does the Developer Program enforce a 60‑day lockout after deleting a profile? Is this a recent change, and is there any official documentation explaining the reasoning? When accessing the Developer Program through my Visual Studio benefits, it shows an old mobile number. Does anyone know where this is stored as its not within my profile, and how can it be updated? After the 60‑day period, can I confirm that I will be able to create a new Developer E5 subscription and link it to my existing environment rather than creating another new sandbox tenant? Any clarification or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes I have seen this on a few YT clips, I am going to assume yes and think possibility that is what has caused it, as the issue didnt manifest itself a few weeks after the timing belt and water pump were changed. The previous coolant tank was really dirty so as part of that works I also asked the garage to replace that also.

Engine temp is fine although I do need to keep checking the coolant levels as have noticed it drop which from my understanding is common when this issue occurs.

Sorry I meant the internal cabin heat. Yes it could be an airlock also. The cabin filter? Is there a way I can check visually?

Hi I’m reaching out regarding an ongoing issue with my 2013 MK7 VW Golf Mk7 2.0 TDI (manual, diesel) that any insight on. The car had previously been losing coolant, which was resolved by replacing the timing belt and water pump. I had the pump and belt replaced at 100k (2021) and then was advised by garage to change again at 131k? (2025) as that was the issue.... tbh I should have questioned it but didnt.. Is that right? Initially it seems ok, but then a few weeks later it’s struggled to warm up properly. The garage then replaced the pump heater based on 'diagnostic' readings, but this hasn’t resolved the issue. I’m reluctant to authorise further parts replacement without a clearer diagnosis. From my own research, I’m wondering whether the heater matrix might be partially blocked—possibly due to the coolant system not being flushed during the earlier repair. I understand this can restrict flow and affect cabin heating. Looking at videos on YT, all sorts of clogging can happen and I bet mines never been replaced... I certainly dont recall. I’m keen to get this sorted without unnecessary expense, or at least understand what is needed if there is a part that needs replacing, everything I have learnt shows it as a possible matrix issue. Would value others opinion before proceeding. Thank you

Hi Currently use DSM 7.2-64570 Update 1 on my DS920+. Does anyone here make use of the CloudSync feature? I have used cloud sync from day 1 to synchronise folders from my Synology straight into my OneDrive however I have noticed a few users haven't uploaded in the right way and now in a position where documents created in OneDrive haven't synced back on the NAS drive. I am slightly confused as I have set the sync direction to bi-directional so through that would be enough to keep it in sync regardless of where it was created first. I need a way to get this all consistent again and ensure the last file is the one that is retained and replaces any older version of the file but these files could either reside on the Synology or in Onedrive, there is no way for me know which one is the latest. If I could resync cloudSync again is it intelligent enough to only keep one copy, and the latest copy? Any help on this would be most appreciated. I don't know where to start.....

Hi All Just wondering if there are folks on here who use Mac OSX using Jamf Connect and have attempted to use Microsoft Azure Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) to enable mac users to register for the service to reset or unlock their Azure AD account. Is this is a supported scenario or are there issues with this approach? When we have tested this we seem to be seeing issues once a user is setup with enforced registration. When connecting via the JAMF connect login, they receive the 'more information required' message but then go into a loop with the security details not showing correctly. Any help if anyone has seen similar issues would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Hi I am currently working with a client who are moving to modern device management using Autopilot and leveraging Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise. Users are currently managed through MECM and there is no CMG so all machines will be brought back on-prem to be rebuild using co-management and AutoPilot. As part of this M365 Apps for enterprise will be installed. As client will be receiving all devices back the thought process for OneDrive was to use the SharePoint Migration Tool to move/copy files from File Share to One Drive. The device configuration profiles will be managed using Intune. The challenge is we cannot use known folder move as they have folder redirection setup using GPO. My question is what would be the best way to do migrations from File share to OneDrive, is there a more automated way than using SharePoint Migration Tool? It looks like the client would prefer not to have too many changes done at once either and would prefer to hold off on the OneDrive migration till after Autopilot and M365 Apps is installed and provided back to the user. I have recommended not to do this to limit user interaction and prevent users having to disrupt user's devices again and would rather do it at the point when the device is back and do it at same time as AP deployment. I am just looking for a number of options available to us. Unfortunately, OneDrive is not my specialism so just looking for some options. Any suggestions? Many Thanks

I have used the GPO method and its really easy, just add the required template, update the GPO to point to new site code. Scope your machines to that GPO and after a gpupdate it should move the client to new site.

Sorry I should add What I am trying to achieve is a solution which isn’t going to cause too much downtime for the client as they have 3000 devices to service through MECM. I am at the point where the source hierarchy is now migrated and I am using the ConfigMgr content source update tool to point and copy binaries to the new location which is working fine so far. If I was to create a new DP against the new site code, as the new site server can see the source site server (on the same subnet) could I make use of the pull distribution point to effectively stage the content from others DPs to my new DP and then once I have tested content from this new DP with a client I can slowly decommission the old DPs. Would that a workable option?

Hi folks I am currently doing a source hierarchy migration from 2002CB to 2002Cb in 1 forest trust with 2 domains. I done in a way so that the new site server mirrors the old one as much as possible Apart from the server OS which is 2016 as opposed to 2012 in the old environment There are 4 DPs in the source and I can see they are all eligible for re-assignment however my question is if those servers sit in the old domain but I need to move those servers in the new domain. What would be the best approach? I assume the only way would be to recreate those DPs in the new domain against the new site code? Is there a way to migrate DPs from source to new destination DP or is it case of introducing the new DPs in the destination hierarchy and then just ensure they have the DP role and then ensure the content is populated onto that DP before the old is decommissioned? Also currently the old DPs are serving PXE for OSD deployment so I believe before that is done the DHCP or switch helpers will need to point to the new DPs so that process can continue, would that be correct? I look forward to any responses. Thanks

Hi All Am I right in thinking that MECM 2002 does come with a flavour of SQL express on the same media or does this need to be downloaded separately? In the past I have downloaded and installed SQL on a separate server but for the life of me can’t remember the process when co-locating SQL on the same primary site server. Is anyone able to advise?? please? Thanks

Hi I am working with a customer who has some concerns about their MECM 2006 environment in regards to vulnerabilities and deployment of software updates to their devices. As part of this I want to provide a general high level summary of the infrastructure such as how many MPs, DPs, SQL version. I know I can get this information from the GUI via the System status, site status component status but would prefer to extract into a format I can put into a document. I assume PowerShell might help here, is anyone able to advise where best I can start? Thanks

I am not using MDT at all. My understanding is UE-V is now built into Windows 1909 and later and you dont need to install any client side tools as done previously. Yes I got it working partly. It doesnt seem to be sync certain settings but it is able to do some. Have to say the documentation isn't great out there

Hi Everyone I am currently working with a customer who has 2002 and want to move to co-management as they move to Modern device management. They are currently moving from one AD domain to another (they have a two way trust setup), the new domain is configured with Azure Cloud and Azure AD Connect to sync AD identities to the cloud. The SCCM server sits in the old domain however there are some issues with the current environment and it’s not in a healthy state. Examples include: 1. Remote control tools do not work for machines configured in the new AD Domain. work fine in the old domain. 2. Task sequence smsts logs not reporting/coping back to MECM server on completion of build. 3.Deployment of user virtual apps in SCCM fail in new domain, work fine in old domain. The issue occurring is due to in the past the SCCM server was built from a golden image containing duplicate SIDs, when they only had one domain, everything worked as expected however introducing the new domain, certain functionality of SCCM no longer works on new machines. The login is invalid as the authentication attempt contains a SiD that references multiple machines in the target domain meaning the domain controller cannot return valid credentials. The customer believes that re sysprepping the SCCM server could resolve this issue however the problem is the server will still remain in the old domain and they are looking to move all their environment to the new domain eventually and dispose of the old domain. Before we enable co-management and cloud enable SCCM on 2006 we have asked the client to resolve these issues. My thoughts are to build a new SCCM server in their new domain and perform a backup of configMgr DB and other data and just restore that onto a new server, this means no other windows server specific config like SIDs will move across and it should mean a nice tidy clean environment. My question is what impact could this have with the existing estate. Would the same server name need to be used for clients to connect or is further config required to make it work by restoring ConfigMgr to new server. Is there any good documentation around that assists with moving SCCM to a new server? Many Thanks.

I was hoping some black friday deals would come up but none have really been forthcoming at the moment that sort of makes me want to buy. I just rebuilt my ReadyNas with one of the new disks and it seems to be functioning well again now and was thinking whether in the interim could I get use a cloud sync option (through my laptop) to keep some shares on my NAS in sync with my 1TB onedrive account. Its the photos and documents I mainly focused on here.... Has anyone made use of the various sync software options available with ReadyNas Duo V2? I was looking at either cloud sync, GoodSync or Allway Sync for the ability to do 2 way sync between my one drive and NAS and vice versa. If anyone has any experience on this I would be grateful for your review? Thanks yeh I have considered building my own but I just think for the hassle, configuration setup and having to source software that I need for it to do what I need it to do I think its better if I just buy an off the shelf unit. From what I have read and see on youtube, your right the QNAP hardware wise seems to be slightly better and Synology wins on software and more established brand and been in the game longer...
