Is there any REALLY easy software or apps that can reduce the size of image files ie: 4mb jpeg from digital camera, to 1mb or under... Facebook have something similar that once you upload the picture if you view and download it's like 800kb... etc

Any help appreciated... currently doing it the fireworks way but been asked by someone who can hardly work the computer and fireworks isnt suitable..

Cheers

As per Jobos - MS Imageresizer - even teachers use it :)

They just select all their pictures before uploading to website right click - Resize Pictures - click small - advanced - 2 more ticks and OK - job done :)

All pics resized to 640x480 for an image gallery :)

I'd recommend PIXresizer, (Freeware)

It'll do percentages and pixel sizes for individual images, as well as allow you to change between common filetypes, should you wish to. Also supports batch file processing, read CNET's blurb for more.
