Logmein Free

Does anyone use logmein free at all? If so have you had any problems since the new updates?

 

I can log in to my account, see live machines but when i try and remote control them, it connects but within few seconds it disconnects!!!

 

Has anyone had these issues? Is it anything to do with EMBC at all blocking stuff or is there something that i need to do internally on the clients?

Seems to be working ok at all my sites since the update - embc here as well.

 

Should work as it was decided to allow logmein free to work a while ago.

Perhaps try a fresh install?

Only seem to have problems if i use Safari instead of IE

i have always had problems with logmein during the initial connection

ie you click connect and it runs thru the connecting screen then disconnects

all i do is click connect again and i have no troubles

I've only had on problems on W7, It updated to the new one and now everytime I use it I have to re-install my Gfx Card drivers when I get home. It doesn't do it using the old version. But the new version doesn't cause the beta drivers before the ones I'm using now to need a reinstall either so I guess it's a bit of both. Other than that it's all fine, and always has been.

I've started seeing problems when using Google Chrome. I use Logmein Free a lot to do stuff so I make sure I'm always using the latest incarnation of Firefox on whatever PC I'm using.

EMBC here and no problems. You can still use the old version if you have the install file. For some reason my server never updated to the new version but its working fine. Workstations are with the new version.

I was having issues first thing this morning with a couple of my servers but it has since rectified itself.
