Anyone have any experience getting them? I'm a first aider here and becuase I complained about the 1950's wheelchair with knackered tires it seems to have fallen to me to order another one. I've looked on Argos and realised that it is a whole can of worms! So I thought I would tap in to the edugeek font and see if anyone knows about specs and features!

Basically needs to be used around school & possibly on the fields so off road abilities would be good.

Try halfords, they're doing wheelchairs now.

Might also be worth trying to get in touch with your county Occupational Health dept (or the local hospital's OH dept) as they should be able to advise the best course of action.

Something like

Premium Push Wheelchair from Halfords Price £229.99 20% Off Any Mobility Accessory When You Buy Any Wheeled Mobility Product

Unless it's only going to be used on smooth tarmac you want something eith bigger wheels then that.

I'll ask my mum where she got hers.

If your school has a special needs dept or a visiting person, get in touch with their physiotherapy person or contact a local hospital and talk to one of their rehabilitation units.

(or possibly also a nursing home)

You could also try EduGeek BUY - it's amazing what you can get quoted on!
