FN-GM Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 (edited) After the bash after the last conference, a few of us including EduTech, John and me are having a few drinks in Manchester to celebrate the end of the summer. We are looking at Saturday 29th August 7pm Starting in the PrintWorks and then moving on where ever the mood takes us. The PrintWorks is right next to Manchester Victoria train station. At the station there are many trains and trams linking up the rest of Manchester, Bury, Oldham etc. There is also a train direct from Leeds for any Smoothwall people who want to come...... For more train info look on the internet - If you can’t get a train to that station direct you can get a tram from another to this one. Hope this make sense Open invite! All are welcome! Please sign up here Any questions please ask Zak PS: Any smoothwall people, pass it on to invite everyone else in the office! Edited August 11, 2009 by FN-GM 1

FN-GM Posted August 16, 2009 Author Posted August 16, 2009 Only way I can go is if I'm the sober guy and take the car with me... Me to i am tee total now
john Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Only way I can go is if I'm the sober guy and take the car with me... Who said anywhere that everyone was expected to get drunk out of there minds?! I don't see the need to at all (means you can take good clear photos of those that do get drunk out of there minds and embarrass them with them later and they are not the smeery blury things I usually see on Facebook )
Gatt Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Aye I hear photos like that can fetch a high price on the likes of eBay
Dos_Box Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I may go, if I can raise a suggestion? Start a bit earlier as I will only get about 2 hours of your company in if we start at 7 (I shall endevour to drag Ric along too). As people are travelling I think a 4 or 5 o'clock start time would be good as we could have a couple of drinks, meal and more drinks before the last train home (I've pushed out almost a week in hotels this month, so I can't leave Jane with the kids alone and expect her sanity to be intact if I stay out one more night!).
