kearton Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 FX Channel - Uncompromising TV from FOX Anyone else looking forward to this series?
Simcfc73 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Anything with Vampires is cool by me. This film looks great too Apple - Movie Trailers - Daybreakers
LeMarchand Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Nope. Saw the first two eps and gave up. As much as I like boobies, I just couldn't get into the show. Allegedly it gets better, but there's shows that are far more worthy of my precious time. Daybreakers does look cool, though.
Simcfc73 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 4 episodes in and I want to like it but its a typical HBO series to me and I am not enjoying it. Anna Paquin is amazingly hot though, love the accent and the innocent.
pscott Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Am watching it and loving it! Especially start of last weeks episode when the girl was covered in blood!
witch Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Has anyone read the books from which the series is taken? They are by Charlaine Harris and they are really good - BUT I have noticed that the latest ones are much 'darker' in tone and seem to match the series more - which is a shame, I think Amazon.co.uk: charlaine harris
jamesb Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 They're the Sookie Stackhouse series aren't they? I've read a few of them (first two I think) but they were borrowed and until recently I've had trouble tracking them down. Currently got the first three on my eReader waiting for me to get around to them.
witch Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Yes that's her...but as I say, the last two books are different and more like Kim Harrison books which I don't like much
WStore_Dan Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 The darker and more twisted, the better!
jamesb Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 The darker and more twisted, the better! In that case, have a look at Laurell K Hamilton.
Simcfc73 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Whats this 'reading' everyone is talking about?
jamesb Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Whats this 'reading' everyone is talking about? When I was your age, television was called books. A free point to anyone who can recognise the quote.
