tomscaper Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Just thought i would let anyone who is interested that about 2 or 3 weeks ago i had an interview for a university local to myself for position of IT Tech and i had been offered the job. My school knows and i have handed my resignation in and all the contract forms are all signed and ready for me to start on the 16th June. I am very excited and kind of sad at the same time, i have been working in my school for nearly 4 years now, i liked the job but as you all know schools and IT have there issues and i have wanted to get out. This job pay is far greater for roughly the same amount of work. But again thats schools for you. I guess i will be nervous about everything being different but thats life. I will still be on here as often as possible. Wish me luck.

tomscaper Posted June 2, 2009 Author Posted June 2, 2009 So that's why you applied I just wanted to get out at any cost but it certainly is a good reason to work there.
jamesb Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I just wanted to get out at any cost but it certainly is a good reason to work there. No, no its not. Student nurses are scary, scary people. But you'll find that out soon enough.
tomscaper Posted June 2, 2009 Author Posted June 2, 2009 No, no its not. Student nurses are scary, scary people. But you'll find that out soon enough. Compared to horrid children, which would be worse.

tomscaper Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 My old job is on line now. All Saints Voluntary Aided Church Of England School Let me know what you think from the job description. Personally i think it looks awful they have totally changed the title from ICT Technician, and stuck a load more responsibilites, for a lower wage.
