Hi there,

Ads are showing up as blocked with me supporting BSF a lot of the time.

I'm not running any blocking/stuff.

Is there an issue or am I spesh?

If you are then so am I:) Only on some of the pages though most notably the one I open with - the front page! They also seem to take an age to downoad even when they will display - but that might be my laptop.

I say one thing i did notice was that the page loads and then it takes ages to pull the add in, i am on a mac at the moment and that circle thingy goes round next to the mouse :p

so i think it might just be struggling to pull the adds in from google, probably an issue with google not edugeek.

Same here - would they be coming from the ....woopra.net and 74. addresses?

Maybe, i'm not sure what ZH has got setup as if it having problems pulling in the ads then it will show a "your blocking ads message" as thats what is behind the ads them selves.

Oh yes I see the blocking ads message, but these addresses show in the status bar as the content is being pulled/pushed in.

woopra, siteuptime, and 74.86.135.174 are making it slow to finish rendering the page for me atm and 67.228.180.66 now.

Attached image, you get the blank ad with that odd line below it and then the BSF hatred afterwards. Ads on this page load fine (both in line on the first post) and the one above the thread itself.

FF 3.0.10 on Linux.

Is the message just a graphic? it is always there but it sits behind the adverts when they display. If they dont display you can see it.

The message i understand is just a graphic that sits behind the Ad, if the Ad does not show then your presented with the "your blocking ads....etc".

This one's a little bit silly/jokey but it's not my fault!

I'm getting the Not Found message on a lot of the pages now - on the horizontal ones at the top. Something about the requested URL is not found on this server, can't quite read the message as it gets overwritten by the BSF one.

Dont quote me on this, but i believe ZH has been doing some work on the site this evening, if he is doing some work on the ad's due to the problems we have had the past few days then that is why your getting that. I am getting the same in IE and FF on various pages.

Thought he was, but I knew Kim had flagged this earlier so wanted to add to the "evidence".
