mullet_man Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Gotta love the genius pupil that did this.... Makes you wonder what the teachers are doing when the pupil is ripping off keys though......
powdarrmonkey Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Yeh, I've had some crackers like that. Usually rude or expletive!
tech_guy Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 We had an incident once where the keys from all the computers in a particular suite were used on one keyboard to describe the sexual orientation of a member of staff in quite a detailed manner...I was not happy as it took ages to put all the keyboards back to how they should be. And they never found out who did it although we did have a pretty good idea.
pscott Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 My old school had a suite of 26 computers, went in 1 morning to find first computer had 26 A's, 2nd had 26 B's...... Did the whole suite!

JJonas Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I had a keyboard with letters rearranged to say 'HELLO MR JONAS'
DAckroyd Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Gotta love the genius pupil that did this.... The best one I have seen is someone moved the "Insert" key and then along the line after wrote "P" "E" "N" "I" "S" - particualy good use of additional keys without going beond his own keyboard unfortunately I can't find the photo on my phone
K.C.Leblanc Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Forge a Becta document saying all children should be able to touchtype by the age of 9 so it doesn't matter what's writen on the tops of the keys. Or remap the keys to their new possitions.
jcollings Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 We had 2 (not very bright) girls swap the keys round once to spell their own names! They were suprised we caught them
eean Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Years ago we had a keyboard rearranged. The kids knew that the teacher would logon using this computer and was still at the hunt-and-peck method of typing. He typed his username and didn't realise the keys had been rearranged. When he looked up it said fuckhead. He thought the computer had a virus. 2
cookie_monster Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 All that effort and that's the best message they could come up with, that spells something else.
stu Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 your all luck our laptop keys get ripped off and clips broken so key wont go back on pretty much every time , do like the 26 computers one, on my last day i think ill rearrange the mapping of my keyboard for my replacement

eean Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 All that effort and that's the best message they could come up with, that spells something else. I can't remember the exact word - it may have involved a ladies' private parts. The best thing was that even after typing he didn't realise that the keys had been rearanged. He just kept deleting it and retyping until I came down.
