We had an incident once where the keys from all the computers in a particular suite were used on one keyboard to describe the sexual orientation of a member of staff in quite a detailed manner...I was not happy as it took ages to put all the keyboards back to how they should be. And they never found out who did it although we did have a pretty good idea.

Gotta love the genius pupil that did this....

The best one I have seen is someone moved the "Insert" key and then along the line after wrote "P" "E" "N" "I" "S" - particualy good use of additional keys without going beond his own keyboard

unfortunately I can't find the photo on my phone

Forge a Becta document saying all children should be able to touchtype by the age of 9 so it doesn't matter what's writen on the tops of the keys.

Or remap the keys to their new possitions.

Years ago we had a keyboard rearranged. The kids knew that the teacher would logon using this computer and was still at the hunt-and-peck method of typing. He typed his username and didn't realise the keys had been rearranged. When he looked up it said fuckhead.

He thought the computer had a virus.

All that effort and that's the best message they could come up with, that spells something else.

I can't remember the exact word - it may have involved a ladies' private parts.

The best thing was that even after typing he didn't realise that the keys had been rearanged. He just kept deleting it and retyping until I came down.
