We use Sophos on the Macs at work, but it's so very rarely used I really don't see any point in using it. I can't actually remember having to use it at all on the 2000+ Macs we look after.

 

Personally, my MacBook hasn't had any AV software on it at all.

Bit risky at the moment if you're keeping up with the news.. :)

 

 

 

((nnngh, intended to edit with some rather more useful information, however I'm buggered if I can find it now :( Was a fairly nasty worm doing the rounds, certainly nothing near the likes of Conficker but not something I'd want to have to deal with never-the-less - will post info if my brain wakes up again :( ))

Hi,

 

been using Macs and PCs for years, and I had Norton Antivirus for Mac, but as it caused major conflicts with my audio recording set-up I had to uninstall it. Currently don't use anything, simply as there is a distinct lack of legitimate AV software for Mac around, though I hope the developers get onto it soon, as it's only a matter of time before the mighty Mac is brought to it's knees with viruses:eek:
