ajames Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I have been running a trial of impero now for about a month, and have to say its the best software I have seen or used, we had ranger administrator prior to impero, and found it slowed the network, kept crashing and was a nightmare where scripts were concerned, also having to monitor 1000 + kids was a head ache when all you have is a screen shot for an individual. If any one is thinking of new monitoring software I can guarantee impero is the one to try, I have a contact who is giving some very competitive prices at the moment, if anyone out there wants more information or the contact details please feel free to pm me, I am so happy with the software I could scream for joy, and the teachers (Who are still in the dark ages) find there classroom control has gone up 100% with the features the console has.
Dos_Box Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Glad you like it. They sat me down about a year or so back at BETT 08 and asked me for a 'features' list. I hope they got most of them in there.
kmount Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Glad you like it. They sat me down about a year or so back at BETT 08 and asked me for a 'features' list. I hope they got most of them in there. Did they feed you? T'was the least they could do!
speckytecky Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Another vote for Impero. Additionally it's led by a team who have a background in UK Schools ICT and their support is easy to use and so far has never left me for one, wanting. 1
Rozzer Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Been running impero for 6 years now. Teachers love it and its great for esafety monitoring Ross 1
Hawes29 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Excellent Piece of software, I would also highly recommend it:D 1
broc Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Best of breed for us. We ran Impero V1, V2 then BSF came along and imposed NetSupport School on us. We tried NSS but after a year we went back to Impero V3. It has been live since Easter, staff love it.... students are not so keen
Minimanwill23 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Hi there, Any one using Impero recently who can give a recommendation or any alternatives a school can buy? 1
synaesthesia Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 A quick search of this forum will get you a huge amount of praise for it. We're very happy with it for classroom management and haven't even played with some of the newer features it comes with. Nothing touches it IMO. 1
SteveM555 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 +1 for Impero! Our School is a long time Impero customer and it's great. Nothing else comes close (that we've tried) 1
Sylv3r Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 We've been a user for 2 - 3 years and love it. They will do you a free trial so you can have a play on your network. 1
Hawes29 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 We been using it for about 4 years and I have to agree with Sylv3r it's a great product. My only worry is that they are added loads of features which will put the price up. 1
synaesthesia Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 They are starting to become more modular and have been able to offer us preferable pricing minus certain parts such as patch management. 1
