Tom Tom One here, works great and doesn't crash like the higher end Sat Navs as it just does what it says on the tin without all the fancy gizmos which you never use and cause loads of problems.

Was never really interested in one until last November as I just thought they were a gimick and a waste of time. That was until I went on a bunk barn weekend with staff from school into the depths of North Yorkshire in the dark. All the people with Tom Toms were there a good half an hour before those with other brands of sat nav and about an hour or so before us without sat nav.

I prefer my TomTom to the Garmin range.

I got the TomTom with built in bluetooth 3 or 4 years ago and it still does the job. Its a bit chunky compared to the newer models so I'll be looking at getting a newer model and a PARAT in the next 6 months or so.

TomTom is great at what it does, and is the lorry drivers favourite. Basic graphically/ not pretty looking, but gets you from A to B like no other. Voices are the best on any system too.

Having said that I never touch it as iGO8 floats my boat. 3D landscape & buildings, Text to Speech plus it's vastly configurable.
