Isn't it nice to know that some sense of Cosmic balance is restored when :censored: like that get what's due them and they haven't taken anyone else with them.

I dunno, I've been in a few serious crashes (car and bike) myself, and wouldn't wish em on anyone.

Worst I ever saw was in the snow, when I was on my old kawasaki going into uni. a TVR came out of a side road, spun and got broadsided by a truck...the car was ripped in half, and more blood and bits then I've ever seen were spread in all directions.

...so maybe wishing that on people is a bit harsh

I've come in from mums/gone home from there a few times and seen some idiots getting their comeuppance..heh. Narrow, windy roads...

1 car upside down with the driver looking confused, 1 in a wall, driver in car, 1 come off the road at a high point overlooking the severn - couldn't see any more, but it he didn't end up in it, he's lucky.

There was one up here..big long 3 lane hill, can get a fair speed down it/up it...accidnet must have happened in the day, but at night I drove past..metal on both sides of the road, and a wheel complete with suspension sat in the feeder lane.

Maybe and maybe not... I've seen more people travelling at 100+mph on roads and in conditions when they should be down to 40 only to find they they've driven clean into some poor sod who's in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Sorry to say this but if they're going to kill anyone, let it be themselves and nobody else.

That said, I wish they'd write off the car and live to learn from the experience and pass that on.

Snow falling in Southampton, so far only a couple of inches. However, I am not going to play on the motorway yet. I'll leave it an hour so that the reptiles can all crash their BMWs by trying to drive like any other day, THEN I'll go in.

I wonder if my old chains fit this car...

I'm currently listening to the sound of wheel spinning buses trying to climb our hill... Fun!

It's not too bad North of Sheffield although danrhodes is just down the road so that's nixed any plans I had to head towards North Yorkshire today.. Home working day today too I suspect.

Yippeee school closed today only about 2cm of snow though but its due to get worse late on. School is closed as one of the main roads where most of the staff live is closed because of an accident!!

Loads of snow here, loads of kids in school, hardly any staff, no idea what is going to happen i heard rumors of sending all the rest home and keeping the year 11 in.

Just a 'dusting' here in West Lancs. Still enough for my kids to get out in their snow suites in the back garden and play in snow though :)

Hopefully we'll catch more later on.

Loads of snow here but my school not closed.

The approach to the school is a steep hill and just before the gate I realised that, even though I was driving *very* slowly, I had no brakes, managed to steer it through the gates, round a bend into the car park and into a space.

Was any looking at this feat of skill? Course not! :)

bloody snow..hate, hate, hate....

I admit, if I didn't have to drive in it, it's be different. The whole area around my house gets no treatment/clearing, and I have cars both sides of the road to miss, and 3 lots of kiddies who insist on playing chicken on the run to the main road.

Once on the main road, it's just a case of "drive at 25, slower if needs be, ignore the cretins". Then into the carpark here that's (as usual) untreated. Bah.

Took the missus to work..dropped her off on the corner. Daren't go all the way to the door as I used to live down there, and it's a subsiding/twisty/bumpy/alternately cambered rollercoater, with a sheer drop to the severn.. 2 years ago was bad enough.

If it kicks off here, I'm going...I can't walk back, and I'm not endangering myself.

The cats thought it was ace..took them out in it. Kitten went utterly demented trying to swat/kill/eat the flakes, and the big one kept growling at them..:D
