I sent out an email yesterday telling staff that we were shutting the proxy down for 15 mins to run some tests.

I got a reply this morning reading...

"Hi Tony,

I can not get Internet at home. Is this a general problem?

*username*"

myself and the other tech, laughed our backsides off...

Lol we've had this - we got blamed for the internet not working at a member of staff's home properly. Wouldn't have minded but it wasn't the school laptop they were using but their own PC. FFS sake get a grip!

Tell them you've got a copy of the internet on CD if they have any future problems.

It's rather worrying but I know a lot of people who would believe this one if you told them...
