FreeWill Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Yep - recently installed 17 A100/A110s! These things can be tricky to set up, but once you understand the mount adjustments it's reasonably straight forward (even if no less frustrating). The bottom edge is made level either by rotating the projector front edge towards the highest bottom side (assuming projector mounted above board), tilting the projector by using the mounting screws, or tilting the mount itself. Tilting should only really be used if the top is off as well. Rotation only will normally keep the top edge at the angle as it was before adjustment. Because they are such short throw all adjustments are very exaggerated - the smallest tweak sends the picture a long way in the right / wrong direction.

I can't make the adjustment myself as the installation company have ownership of the issue, but I'll pass your comments on. I'm not going to mention who we are using (it's not AccurateAV unfortunately), but I'd be interested to hear which company got them right first time...

What worries me though is the sharpness of the image and also what happens if the mirror gets smashed because some idiot didn't close the projector down

I've just asked for a quote to install another on in place of an ageing HP SVGA thing. Since they came in the thing has died so I need to move quickly and they say they are short-staffed due to sickness. So, I'm thinking to install it myself. I guess it's a two-man job because it looks quite heavy. Is it relatively easy to bolt to the wall?
