I have to pop in Maplins on Sunday - [ got to take yet another DVD player back which won't output on my HD TV via HDMI to DVI lead ] So I'll pick one up.....

Butuz Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 I've always paid around £25 for official Promethean replacements, which I suppose is a bit steep considering their spec and unreliability. Anyone finds an aftermarket one with the same connector and same power ratings let us know!
cmssbrie Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 The PSU's have a 12 month warranty, so it may be that you could get a replacement by contacting our Tech Support team with the board serial number. If it is out of the warranty, they should be able to quote you for a new one. Cost wise, I honestly don't know, but I would reccomend only using Promethean branded ones.
