  1. I'd go with Casio as you have invested In them with the others
  2. Yes the XJ-ST145 is perfect, expensive but should last years without ever buying a lamp. The mount is ra product code RA-XJ-ST/XJH/PM/V2 for the v1 (scaffold ole type) Are you xe40's dead or has the thermal switch Just tripped? Takes 15 mins to fix a trip!
  3. RA mounts make an adapter for the Promethean v1 which will take the Casio led short throw, combined price about £1250 thought!!! You can get refurbished xe40's (cleaned optics etc) for about £275
  4. Hi What boards are they, 100 series, 300 series or the 500 series (pen and touch)? Is is the same for all boards ? Have you tried other pens (sorry I know its ' the basics' but the more info the better. Where abouts are you in the UK? Thanks (ex Promethean Employee)
  5. Promethean do have a replacement with plate that fits on their old V1 AB+2 board, short supply though so be quick!
  6. Hi Im not sure the 450wi is the right solution for your application, but probably the cheapest. The projector is ultra short throw and designed to be mounted on the wall so not sure how you intend fitting it, perhaps on a mobile unit such as loxit, but again not sure that would work. Also a drop down electric screen just wouldnt be sturdy enough and would mive when you use the pen ! You can buy a Promethean (and smart) mobile system that can be moved around easily and has a built on short throw projector that would not require any adjustment when you use it. Or like others say you could go for an interactive plasma, but pricey for a decent size.
  7. Did you ever get to the bottom of this, I have the same issue Thanks
  8. They should be supplied with all the software you need. You dont need to buy anything and they work really well on Smart Boards. (Have you checked under the lid, pull away the foam top) You may be able to sell them on to a dealer??????? But like I said they were given loads of free sets by Promethean ( I have 60!!)
  9. Promethean original not as dear as you think. Contact a premier dealer for a price and if you find a good one they are cheap
  10. You can get some good deals on these at the moment. The proper price is 995 per set of 32 but Promethean gave away loads of free sets over the summer to some of their dealers as part of a promotion. Barter as hard as you can, they cost them nothing !!!
