We've had Sims.net running on citrix fine for some time. However we just put the August update on our Sims server and now the sims client software on the citrix servers are refusing to update. I have attached a screenshot of the error message.

The connect.ini points to the correct location and the drive mapping is functioning. I have also tried reinstalling sims, but had the same error reoccur.

have a look at the sims.ini and the check the location of the sims directory and the sims .net directory paths.

Due to SIMSCentralserver.exe running there can be issues if the locations are the same

I assume you reinstalled using Add new program and ran SIMSLoad.exe through "Add new program"?

NB: I don't have Citrix, but this is how I do it on our terminal server.

I had this same issue. (Amongst others), it was fixed by copying the SIMS.ini file from a windows xp machine to the 2k3 server (like penfold says). Oh and I had to remove SIMSLoad from the shortcut, simply loading Pulsar.exe on its own.

EDIT: Doing as pete says seems to remove the problem with SIMSLoad.exe

Looks like it was a problem with that update. We had exactly the same issue, and as mentioned above we resolved this by copying the SIMS.ini from a working computer to the server.
