LeMarchand Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 If you have a Poundland near you, guess how much they are each!
DSapseid Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Try here UNBRANDED | CS13093 | Mice, Keyboards & Peripherals | Computer Products | CPC only £1.18 if you order over 10

EduTech Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 From the picture, that looks like what Poundland sell (in white). Take it you like poundland then or do you work for them part time
tech_guy Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 It always makes me laugh when I see the bars of cadbury chocolate in Poundland for 99p and the newsagent two doors down sells the same ones for 79p...
K.C.Leblanc Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 It always makes me laugh when I see the bars of cadbury chocolate in Poundland for 99p I think someone is fleecing you there, doesn't sound like poundland to me, sound like the 99p stores.

LeMarchand Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Take it you like poundland then or do you work for them part time On my wages, it's more like somewhere I shop out of necessity . Though you can pick up some OK kit in there for - well, a pound. Have to say that the "Zodiac" store in town, while generally not as cheap, does a surprising array of PC and AV leads as well as tools for knock-down prices. Mind you, in nearby Portsmouth there is something similar called "Mr Cheap" (apparently "there's none cheaper") that I'm too scared to go in as the missus would be inclined to start calling me just that!
sidewinder Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 I normally steer well, well clear of Pundland and the link for anything electrical - you get what you pay for Its ok for cheap leads though I suppose Always find those stores to be vastly dissapointing - really dont get the bargains you expect. I mean its no surprise, they have to make a profit so the goods are worth far less than a pound - and it shows
Elky Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 I live right near Mr Cheap! Never ventured in there though but do find the sign above the shop mildly amusing!

OutToLunch Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 The Signalex stuff in Poundland is actually pretty good - the USB card readers from there are the only cheapo ones I've had that haven't packed up on me in a month and work nicely at full speed and with SDHC cards.
