AWicher Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Just started, by recommendation from Mr Fry. Also found Tweetie as a good app for iPhone.
WithoutMotive Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Ok to name and shame the LA? Go for it: 'tis Wigan... that's W-I-G-A-N
WithoutMotive Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Good news... I've managed to get around the fact that Twitter is blocked. I can now tweet to my hearts content.
browolf Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I use tiny twitter app on windows mobile. I havent really figured out what to tweet on there cos my life surely aint that interesting. Im still trying to find my feet and slimming down my inital splurge of friends list to vaguely interesting ones. If I remember I'll post a list of interesting people later.
AWicher Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Starting to get into it, and recently attended the 1st PrestonTweetup event, that was surreal, half the room talking via twitter. Arran Wicher (AWicher) on Twitter
browolf Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 (edited) some twitterers worth watching Brent Spiner (BrentSpiner) on Twitter Alan Costello (alancostello) on Twitter SINgleGIRL (SINgleGIRL) on Twitter Teddy Shabba (TeddyShabba) on Twitter Scot McKay (ScotMcKay) on Twitter Brian Campbell (socialmania) on Twitter Edited March 26, 2009 by browolf
russdev Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Also check out the edugeek twitter group.. http://tgr.me/g/edugeek
ashgray2 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Right now I don't have a twitter account. I'll create tomorrow morning in my vacant time, Twitter is so popular. Since I'm too busy right making some paperworks, I'll keep in touch in this forum Thanks
tom_newton Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Our US PR folk have convinced me it is a good idea. I remain, as always, skeptical. My own (not vastly well updated, rarely interesting) feed is Tom Newton (thomasnewton) on Twitter and that of my employer... SmoothWall (SmoothWall) on Twitter (which tends to be news stories from our web site)
WithoutMotive Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 (edited) Twitter has become a very useful resource for me since its got going. Find me here: @withoutmotive Tweeting hasn't been a problem for me now. I tweet all the time from Tweetie on my iPhone. Also post blog links, photos and other useless rubbish. JJonas Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Good news... I've managed to get around the fact that Twitter is blocked. I can now tweet to my hearts content. How? I am still having this problem
WithoutMotive Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 How? I am still having this problem Actually, since that particular post, it's become unblocked by the LA. I'm not sure if this is by accident or not but it's unblocked. If it's not, you can use Twittermail which allows you to email your updates to Twitter and receive them on request. Or, you can access Twitter on your phone. Before I got my iPhone, I used to use Twittermail a lot. Very handy.
