I think Apple are offering a £150 black Friday gift voucher with the new MBPs so if you (assuming they let you!) combine that with educational discount it should make for a reasonable saving!

I can highly recommend this one too as I have one, and it's been invaluble in a car that doesn't have the ability to fit in a whole new head unit (Fordk Kuga). It will even map t the steering wheel controls, which is nice!

Not sure if they have a deal on, but Udemy Yearly personal plan is only £180 and has a vast range of courses available for free once you sign up. I prefer it to Pluralsight personally.

I just bought my M4 mini for £499 with the £100 educational discount on the apple website.

 

They do check here, but the process is very painless, as you simply have to have a school email address.

 

The verification process took a couple of minutes and was all online.
