Intune - OneDrive Policies

Good afternoon,

 

When we migrated to OneDrive I put in place some traditional folder redirection GPOs that redirect Documents, Favorites, Music, My Pictures and My Video to %onedrive%\Documents etc.

 

But now I'm interested in using the Known Folder Silent Move via Intune which at the moment is configured to move Desktop, Documents and Pictures. I have tested on an empty test account with none of the above traditional policies applied and it worked perfectly.

 

However I'm worried about what might happen when I enable the Intune policy for existing users with data and remove the traditional policies if that makes sense?

From memory, nothing will happen to the existing data except redirect as expected but again do test with a account with some data.

We did this about 4 years ago so please forgive me if i am steering you down the wrong path.
