Monitor ~21" with internal PSU and HDMI...

Hi,

 

I'm looking at buying thirty LCDs for a new pupil computer room (we already have the computers from spares from an earlier purchase), with the following requirements:

• Ideally an internal PSU, rather than a power brick. The ones I've been looking at recently all seem to have external PSUs, but I'd prefer to directly plug the AC power into the monitor.
  
• HDMI connection, 1920x1080.
  
• Only about 21" inches, as we need to keep the width down for space reasons.
  
• Lower end of the price range.
  

 

Does anyone have any recommendations of monitors and/or suppliers? We'd consider refurbished too.

What about USB C powered monitors? Run them from the PC then, not need for additional plug socket

The DisplayPort is useful in the absence of a HDMI (as the computer has a DisplayPort in addition to a HDMI port), but I know when we've put in orders with Amazon in the past (especially for monitors) they've tended to not have bulk quantities in stock - which you only find out for certain at the point of purchase.

Unfortunately not a possibility with the PCs we have, but when I thought about this in the past I've always thought the USB-C socket looks a bit flimsy, especially for pupil facing PCs. (I'd worry about robustness with staff too, but pupils would be even more challenging.)

They have USB, HDMI, DP and a headphone jack from the model i'm currently looking at.
