[22h2] Theme gone awry

Some of our recent Windows 11 builds using WDS/MDT have a very strange look :/

 

Not sure what I've done but when a standard teacher logs on explorer looks like this:

 

 

We've yet to have any complaints from end-users but it definitely does not look right.

 

Has anyone any ideas or has anyone had any luck pushing out a set theme to all their Win 11 devices?

 

I tried this but it had zero affect on the end-users.

Sorry not an answer to your question, but I'm glad to see that MDT still works with Win11. As I'm sure its not officially supported anymore.. (from what i've read)

 

Looks like dark mode. Does this theme only appear for teachers?

That’s odd , for our win11 ts I just copied our 10 one and swapped the WIM and it has worked fine

Students too, surprised no one has complained.

Life is too short - tempted to just give users the ability to choose a different theme!

MDT is still not officially supported but still works with Windows 11.

 

The funny thing is that there is nothing out there to replace it unless you want to rely on single developers building 3rd party tools.

 

All the great push towards a subscription model.

Could it potentially be a display driver issue?

 

If you log onto the PC in question can you change the theme and have it apply correctly?

When I next get some free time I'll see if downgrading the driver makes a difference :/

We seem to be having the same strange issues in Windows 11 - file explorer becomes unresponsive - it doesnt crash - you just cannot click on navigation buttons etc.  Did you find a resolution at all?
