Benjaminbl12 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Hi all, Has anyone had any experience/success in deploying Unity? I've setup an organization which has 1 seat assigned to it under a Unity Educator Plan. I assume that 1 seat covers all the users in that organization? That's the first issue. Secondly, how would one go about deploying it? Do I need the Unity Hub or could I get away with installing the LTSB version of Unity? Using a script, I managed to extract the setup.exe and the WebGL+Universal addons which is then linked to a .bat file and then deployed via SCCM. Unity Hub is also deployed. When staff/students go to log in though it just spins on the Hub and errors out. Any help would be appreciated because Unity are so slow and their articles are useless! Thanks
ultima170387 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 I have tried recently - I need to revisit. We got a 35 seat license and each physical machine claims 1. I used this guide to license without signing in https://learn.unity.com/tutorial/activating-your-education-grant-license-egl#633c7d2dedbc2a27f682e7b5 I cant get Unity Editor to successfully run when logged in as a student or staff account so I am guessing some restrictions on the clients are to blame as both give different experiences.
lornebooker Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 We seem to have the same issue. Would be nice to know if you get it working!
