localzuk Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Does anyone know of any simple to use stop motion animation software? When I say simple, I mean something they press a button on to take a photo and add it to their animation. That they can save and load up their projects easily etc... Shotcut, qStopMotion and OpenShot are apparently all too complicated.
Dos_Box Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 My kids used to use something which was exactly that. they used to use Lego ans Mario figures to make little stop motion movies. I'll have to see if I can remember what it was.

RLR Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Not used it myself but I know our students use Stop Motion Studio on their iPads. Can't be too difficult and looks to be available on Windows: https://www.cateater.com/ 1
OldTimeIT Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 I used Monkeyjam many years ago to make some simple stop motion animations. Looks like it is still available. 1
localzuk Posted March 13, 2023 Author Posted March 13, 2023 I know some primary's use https://cloudstopmotion.com/en-GB Just a webpage, no software to install etc. This looks ideal to me. I've forwarded it over to the teacher in question to look at. Ideal as we use Chromebooks widely here, so a web based one is always good.
FragglePete Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 (edited) We used to use this many moons ago... https://www.zu3d.com/education/zu3d-in-education/ But, obviously PC only. Pete Edit: Just noticed, same company now as the Cloud Stop Motion. Edited March 13, 2023 by FragglePete
