It's that time of year once more and with many retailers already starting their sales I think it was time we got the ball rolling with the deals you have seen.

As always, please post up links (from the retailers site and not from third party links please) to any deals you see and feel free to ask for others to keep an eye out for deals you might be looking for.

 

I'll get the ball rolling with this rather nice Oppo phone from Currys who are making great efforts to be cheaper than everyone else this year.

I'll be on the lookout for some deals on TVs and a few other bits and pieces that I need for the house. However, given the current cost of living crisis, a reminder from Martin Lewis, for those that might need it, this year of all years...

That is good advice, I do have a few things I'm on the look out for, namely a 1440p 27" monitor for my son and, possibly, a new TV. Mine is getting on a bit now (7 years old) and the picture was never the best. I see currys have this - https://www.currys.co.uk/products/hisense-50a6bgtuk-50-smart-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-led-tv-10240139.html - and could fit the bill nicely.

If using amazon be wary of these types of deals

 

Take the following £44.99 - 58% off the original price, but in the bottom left hand corner the same product can be bought new for £54.99. So not quite the bargain it first appeared

 

Amazon do a lot of this, so using a website service like Camel Camel Camel can help you see the previous prices over time

You should get it. Mainly because I was looking at TVs earlier this year but, as the current is fine (just not 4K though I don't have a lot of 4K content), when things started to skyrocket I dropped the idea. At that price... A "real person" review would be good!

Would love to upgrade my PC, long overdue. Hoping for some good deals.

 

Mine is almost 10 years old. The 4770k is fairly chugging now and I'm sure is involved in slash and burn agriculture in the amazon with its power draw...and seal clubbing.

I thought you & @ZeroHour were upgrading when the Ryzen 5xxx series was released a while back?

 

Anyhow. I want a new iphone. iPhone 11 has served me well for the last three years, but my lad is getting to te age where a phone would be useful.

 

I'm looking for a deal for a 13/14, not on 3 for around £30 a month (24 month term). Need 15-20gb of data really.

Shaun got a new one as his was in an almost terminal state (no puns please), but with prices skyrocketing we put mine on hold. Prices are now getting much better so will be looking at an Intel based one now I think.

I have a eufy one. Prefer it to ring etc for local storage. I have the wireless model - but it allows you to wire to a ‘standard’ doorbell wiring for power.

I could open it up and fix it, but I've been considering a newer Xbox Series controller, with USB C. This has been a super expensive month for me and I can't really justify spending, so it's frustrating that Black Friday is before my payday!

You can add Argos and Currys to the list. According to HUKD you can get the Curry's price down below £30 with code FNDDGAMING if you can collect. (Can also get a few months Apple TV+ if you're not currently subscribed).
