I'm sure this is something daft.

I've been using Outlook 365 through Firefox on Macbook Air for as long as I can remember.

I've just noticed (and I think it's new) that when I reply to a message it dissapears from my Inbox

I can see the conversation in Sent Items but not in my Inbox.

It reappears if someone then replies to my message.

Any ideas please?

I've not got any rules set up and I'm not just showing Unread or anything like that.

I don't think it is related, (just incase though) but somehow with Office 365 and Firefox I repeatedly seemed to trigger the shortcut key to archive the current email.

Never really understood how I was doing it, but turned off the shortcut keys now and all is good.

Bit more info - I've just spotted they are going into Archive folder. Not sure why though.

I've not done anything to them manually and can't see a rule

This happened to me just this morning - all my inbox shifted to the Archive folder whilst I was writing a reply to a message. I thought I'd hit a function key or something.

Apparently using the backspace key will archive messages in the current folder (Inbox in my case) - so when I used the backspace to erase some charachters it was actually shifting the contents of my Inbox to Archive one message at a time.
