Alternative to FMS/Sage

We use RM finance, which is supported through our local authority. Tbh its not great.

From feedback we've had its great for the auditors and finance but annoying for day to day office users to get to grips with.

I've not used it but I seem to recall the iSAMS finance product, iFinance, is based on IQ Finance

I'm enjoying the mental image of "fiancé management"

 

We were using RM Finance and it was fairly dreadful. We've now moved to Novus, and too early to say yet whether we'd recommend it.

Sorry I know an old thread. which system did go for in the end and if you don't mind saying how you are finding it? we are in the process of looking at different finance system and we have a demo with Sage this afternoon.

We've just looked at the market and we are now planning on moving to Access Finance. (https://www.theaccessgroup.com/en-gb/education/software/school-finance/)

Works out slightly more than FMS but can now go completely paperless as it's all web based. One less thing to update!

Access, IRIS Financial and I know Bromcom have a solution too. SIMS Finance is also available, but I once saw it demoed at an event immediately following PS Financial (now IRIS Financial) and it was like watching a Renault Zoe do a timed lap after a Pagani Zonda.
