Especially around managing FSM and allergens at teh till Thank in advance.
  3. Thanks @gumbygaz for your reply. I have more questions and if you don't mind if I PM you?
  4. We are looking into migrating 6 x of our O365 tenants onto one single Trust tenant, and wondered how things are going if you have already migrated and if you can recommend a company to do the work? we are also looking for someone to take charge and manage the project for the trust. Thanks in advance.
  5. HI @gumbygaz we are looking into migrating 6 x of our O365 tenants onto one single Trust tenant, and wondered how things are going well and if you still recommend Aspira Cloud? we are also looking for someone to take charge and manage the project for the trust. Thanks in advance.
  6. Thanks for your reply Pete. An example; a Teams channel is set up on trust tenant in an MTO setup, then the finance manager shares access from that Teams channel with other finance staff which exist under different school tenant in the trust, so access needs to be possible and seamless without having to invite using email address etc.
  7. HI Pete, yes individual schools have their own accounts@school emails. we will have a Trust central accounts email as part of the MTO setup. With regards to approval workflows; the issue the person who tried to use it across multiple tenants, it didn't work and couldn't reach the other users and apps from the other tenants. Thanks
  8. Hi again, can you please check the questions below and let me know if it's something you are using across all your schools O365 tenants MTO; The areas we are thinking in using in an O365 MTO setup are: • Basic ad-hoc approval of specific documents in Sharepoint (to be submitted and approved between users at different schools) • Workflows using Power Automate with Microsoft Approvals - e.g. a staff expense claim via Microsoft Form - available to all users in the Trust to submit, to go via a chain of approvers depending on the form criteria • Accessing other school's M365 apps from within Power Automate, e.g. building flows based on triggers from all school Outlooks (for example all 7 accounts@school inboxes) and do things like file automation to Sharepoint/Onedrive locations hosted at different schools. As far as I know, at the moment this is currently only available within the Power Automate flow's home tenant. Thank you in advance for your replies/ opinions.
  9. With regards to staff siting on the MTO main Trust tenant, I'm thinking in using Intune to enrol and them; can you please let me know if you encountered any issues with those devices when these users travel from school to school? and any other issues I need to be aware of to help avoid them. example I could think of is printing, DHCP, DNS etc. Your reply is much appreciated. Thanks
  10. @Boredguy Can I call you to go through the settings quickly and to help make an informed decision re fetaures, as we will also set up a tenant for the trust. Thanks
  11. Thank you both for your replies. Can also clarify what you mean about "groups currently in preview", does it mean you can only select by username when you enable sync with other client tenants? until Microsoft release the option to uise groups instead of username?
  12. Thank you both for your help and clarifying the many queries about Tenants MTO.

  14. Thank you for your reply and for explaining the process you used to set up sync between all schools. The reason I've asked about this is because the consultant I've been speaking to said it wasn't possible to set up sync MTO between all schools, but only between the main tenant and the other schools.
  15. @mikkydoos, @Boredguy thank you both. @Boredguy how did you manage to set sync between school A and school B, is this config on Entra ready to be enabled or did you have to use a third party tool? Thanks
  16. Sorry to hijack this; @mikkydoos, @Boredguy I'm planning to set up MTO between our schools (6 in total), so they could sync with a new Trust tenant (so 7th tenant). My question is did you set up sync between all schools or just from Trust Tenant and the other schools and if so how is this working? Thanks in advance.

  18. @Boredguy thanks for your replies. Did you use a consultancy company to help you with MTO setup? I'm looking into this and if you had any tips etc. thanks
  19. I also meant to add as well as creating MTO across 4 schools tenants, we are planning off adding an exra tenant for trust central staff to use, it will also be used for trust file and information sharing with other schools using SharePoint sites and Teams; have any of you have this sort of setup? Thanks on advance.
  20. Good point re storage benefits with MTO setup. I guess they all need to be on A3 licence for MTO to work properly and take advantage of storage which comes with it?
  21. @Boredguy thank you very much for the information and for the tips. It's been hard for me to decide whether to go for MTO or complete migration of 6 x tenants to a central trust tenant, each consultancy company I spoke to to they all pushed for the migration to a central tenant, which made it confusing and more difficult for me to make an informed decision. Thanks for your insight to the MTO setup, which is comforting to hear it's all working as you expected it.
  22. HI @Boredguy I've looking at having trust tenant so users can collaborate better and share resources on access teams, SharePoint etc. Can you please list any pitfalls and advantages you've experienced with your MTO setup, as I'm more leaning towards MTO rather than All sub tenants (6 in total) migrated onto one central trust tenant Thanks in advance
  23. Thank you for your input on this. I will watch the video to gain an insight into it all. Thanks
  24. Thank you @mikkydoos @Rob_D for you messages very helpful. I'm being told that MTO setup doesn't solve the seamless collaboration challenge faced by multiple tenants setup; Can you also let me now if your users can see search address books from other tenants for when sharing resources and also in chat? This is one of the issues mentioned to me when I spoke to a consultancy company, I started to now think they only want the more complex, full migration of all tenants to one tenant, and larger project for their financial gain. I'm just trying to compare the two setups MTO vs full tenant migration to a central tenant, to make sure we don't end up not solving the issue of seamless file sharing, collaboration in Teams and seamless access to re]sources Thanks a lot
  25. HI, sorry for starting this thread again. Can you please let me know how you found using MTO with sync with other tenancies enabled; did it solve the issues with seamless access you had before and also any pitfalls? I'm not convinced which route to take yet and still looking into it, MTO or full migration from 5 x tenants to a single trust tenant. Thanks in advance.
