Edu-IT Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 I think that’s a con and I wouldn’t use any service that does.
speakercon Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 I've setup freepbx previously and have nothing but good things to say about it, but I have a new installation coming up and I'm going to go with 3CX this time. I'm currently debating having the server on prem or hosting via 3cx directly or Azure.
chinesewhispers Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 Just got a test handset in for this, but struggling to get it connected to the server. We use Smoothwall, don't suppose anyone has any gotchas to highlight? Gamma Horizon here, no problems to report Only thing I don't like about it is the night service option - I have to change office hours on a schedule and the interface is a little poor in that regard. Shame there wasn't just a night service button. Polycom phones too

You've set up all the port forwarding as per this guide? https://thisisfocusgroup.co.uk/downloads/Network%20Configuration%20Guidelines_v6.pdf

slugshead Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 Yealkink handsets and BT's hosted voice, through a reseller. Been bombproof 3CX for on prem weird SIP stuff for integration purposes (alarms etc)
Icarus94 Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 +1 for 3CX been using it for a couple of years now. Pretty straight forward to use and configure.
