VM all the way, Our schools all have a dedicated VM for all the printers/copier's with the hardware spec requested from the leasing company.

I had the same issue many years ago highly suspect a faulty drive. The desktop was beyond sluggish installing windows from scratch with the secondary HDD connected. After much playing around I unplugged the drive and windows installed at the speed you would expect for the hardware. I ended up removing the drive and getting a new one.

At the previous school I worked at we used Epraise for rewards and syncing pupil timetables to their accounts. Using it for attendance was discussed but never took off. It was a few years ago for me, but I remember when student timetable changes were made in Nova T6 to remove the student from a class group to an alternative subject "alternative provision" for that period. it did upset Epraise. As it was a few years ago I would like to say they have resolved that issue.

there was an issue with DHCP, so we ended up moving DHCP to a different host but still had the issue just with them laptops. after all the windows updates and hardware updates they seem to be fine now. It was really annoying as with a USB to ethernet adapter they got a DHCP reservation and worked fine.

Had the same issue here with Lenovo V15's, refusing to connect to SSID and after further investigation the network cards on the laptops was generating a 182 ip address. The only fix we found despite rolling back to a previous driver version was to un install the wireless driver and automatically re install. Seems to be working fine now (touch wood).

+1 for 3CX been using it for a couple of years now. Pretty straight forward to use and configure.
