In this place you'dd need to smother the walls with them, change the desktop wallpaper, install customised ceiling tiles, a new carpet and even have speakers repeating the message over and over again, and you still would have people do something stupid and STILL use the excuse 'but nobody told me!'.

OK Craig, i'll see if i can find a tube/box thingy for them :)

Time to get creative again Tom! :D

Edu-Tech... what was going through your mind when you did that? It would look better if you spaced them out evenly.

Since staff have been giving their login details to kids, can I have one please.

You will end up reading the information to them, you do realise that?

  • Thanks 1

I can print off enough to wallpaper our labs :). Maybe we'll stop having to reset so many passwords? Or not :(...

I had to laugh because the password generator tool URL that is advertised on the posters is actually blocked by EMBC! Brilliant that.

"What happens at the conference stays at the conference" etc.

Who said something like that? Obviously not about a conference.

Thanks for posting the link Tonyd - all our resident edugeek posters (me & robf) were out yesterday afternoon!

As for Gav and not posting - i'll make sure he knows someone is making remarks about his inability to hold his pop.... you're right, that might get him to post, even though i think deep down he's scared of us technical folk ;-P

Looks like we are going to have to do another print run soon. Hope to add another poster to the lineup in the next month or 2.

Finally... password generator is actually a simple bit of JavaScript I wanged together in an afternoon. It produces vaguely decent passwords, with some predictable aspects which is a trade-off to try and make them more pronounceable. If anyone wants the code i can attach it somewhere, would be easy to add to an intranet page etc... and any feedback/improvements welcome.

There are some other really good (produced in > 1 afternoon ;)) passgens out there.. i will see if i can find links to em.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas :)

Although if you get married in Vegas - you are, in fact, married everywhere :p
