We mostly have a windows network but have some macs here and there. Most have their own printer so don't need the follow me but there is now a need to add it to a few but I'm struggling to add in the print queue

I can get the client installed but i can't figure out how to add the printer properly

The printer is a virtual print queue named follow me print queue

I've gone into printers, added in the advanced tab and tried smb://servername/follow me print queue

with a driver that would work (why don't mac have universal printer drivers!!)

It won't let me add i'm guessing because of the spaces in the printer name

Does anyone have a similar setup and can help me resolve?

thanks for the replies i'll give them a try and see how it goes.

Just found out there is some support available for this from out print company so if i don't get anywhere they might be able to help also.

If it's been shared, then you should be able to see it by going to \\servername in file explorer or a run command. From there you can install it by double clicking on the follow me queue. From an sharing/installation point of view the FollowMe Queue should behave like any other networked printer.
