The new, flat version of the familiar roundel is one of the “first steps” of the updated identity, according to the company. 3s-gtech Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 It’s depressing that someone got paid for that, considering it looks like a knockoff cooked up in Illustrator in five minutes flat. 1
jthompson Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 I look forward to seeing this new design fill up my rear-view mirror as effectively as the old one.
mrbios Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 I look forward to seeing that logo between two indicator lights that apparently don't work.
paulkerton Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 From my 120 mile round trip to work, I only recognise the top half of that logo, and backwards.

I look forward to seeing that logo between two indicator lights that apparently don't work. Wow you are lucky to see both of them! Normally they just race past me!

jthompson Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Seems to be the trend these days: 1) Take existing logo 2) Flatten it, take out gradients 3) ??? 4) Profit! It was certainly a trend in the mid-2010s. This feels a bit late. I can't help feeling that flat design logos are not going to age well: a bit like 70s bubble writing.

mrbios Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Wow you are lucky to see both of them! Normally they just race past me! To be fair I'm always sat in the passenger seat because i don't drive
