We're coming up to the point where we need to update all the staff GDPR training.

How do you deliver and record the training? Is it all done in-house with a Google quiz or something at the end? Online videos? External provider?

Are there any specific things that should be covered in the training?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Last year's ours was done with a couple of videos, some information to read and a quiz which recorded responses then emailed them results with answers to fill any knowledge gaps.

Thanks in advance

We just did this through a company call iHasco. I think it worked out at £4 per person. You have a series of videos and reference documents to watch/read and then a test at the end. If set up through school, the admin will be able to set the pass level (our was 100% to pass) and once everyone has taken it, or the end date has passed, the admin can see how passed and can download free certificates. We’ve been told this meets or needs, but would be worth checking yourself.

We complete the GDPR courses on Educare each September. This makes it is to see who has done the course and which staff members still need to.

We use iHasco for all our online training which seems to work well.

+1 for IHasco. Not just used for GDPR but other stuff too (manual handling etc). They even released a corona virus video.
