IT_Man_Dan Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Has anyone got a copy of the installation media/files for Adobe CS6 please? We have a licence but the software files are in RM package form and we've now got shot of RM (wahoo). Many thanks in advance Dan
TLARWise Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 If you know the email address the license is linked to you should be able to download the files from the Adobe Licensing website (https://licensing.adobe.com)
ITGURU Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 AS above, if you have a license key you can login to the adobe site and download the files.
IT_Man_Dan Posted February 11, 2020 Author Posted February 11, 2020 Thanks guys, Unfortunately there's been poor record keeping here and the guy who set it up left years ago. I'm currently going through transferring the licence with Adobe but I've been told this could take some time. Thanks
Jawloms Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Sadly, even if you get the install media you may well need to sign in during the install to activate it anyway!
3s-gtech Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 ^^IME setting up a new install image on 10, that's correct. Hopefully Adobe can sort it for you.
clareq Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Surely the RM installation files will still work - they are just msi files, after all.
elsiegee40 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Unfortunately for you CS6 is licensed software so nobody can supply a copy to you without breaking their own licensing agreement. Your establishment is going to need to prove purchase and negotiate access back into the account.
dapaulio Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Licensing is a b!tch but unfortunately I agree with all points above and wish I could help you having the install media to hand. I know first hand how difficult it was to recover your account from adobe. I had to register my school email address equal to the registered domain on to adobe volume licensing website. Then spent hours on to various adobe reps getting them to recover my volume license agreements. These were pinned to my newly created adobe account and verified through the email address given. Once done all the download media will be available to you and your license keys
IT_Man_Dan Posted February 13, 2020 Author Posted February 13, 2020 Thanks for response guys, Good news, I've been able to access the licensing portal and re download the proper installation files. Thanks for your advice with this. 1

I can access our Adobe site with downloads and key, but have to activate cs6 with an old email domain we no longer use, as they told me i cannot change this. Thanks.
